The bloody gash in my hand was create from helping a friend fall off a cliff. My friend Ben decided to follow me up the rock; however he could not climb over the top. My attempt to pull him over failed, with his body weight raking my hand over the coarse rock. I explaned to him that the best way to get down was for him to let go. I aim for a patch of old snow and counted to three. He landed just fine.
